Open Saturdays at The TANK
, 9am – 1:00pm, every Saturday through October. The public is invited to enjoy, explore, and experience a shared sonic environment. Free to all. (Donations cheerfully accepted.) Read more here. This is the only opportunity for free admission to The TANK. To reserve The TANK for private visits, and for fees, read below.

Past Events:

August 19th — Crystal Singing Bowls at The TANK, noon to 1:00pm.
Christina Hildebrandt, a visiting artist, will demonstrate and perform with crystal singing bowls in The TANK. 

August 12th — Carlos Nakai Concert   
Of Navajo-Ute heritage, R. Carlos Nakai is the world’s premier performer of the Native American flute. Mr. Nakai will perform a concert at Grande River Vineyards, 787 N. Elberta Ave., Palisade, CO, just off I-70 at Exit 42. Proceeds from this concert will benefit The TANK Center for Sonic Arts. 

Join Grande River Vineyards on their lawn for live music, great wine and delicious food throughout the summer. This is always a family-friendly event, so bring the kids, grandparents, cousins, in-laws and maybe even the out-laws! All concert proceeds benefit local charities, concerts are held rain or shine and tickets are non-refundable.

Dinner is offered for sale along with wine, soda, and water.  You may bring a picnic and a lawn chair too, but no outside beverages or pets are permitted. Gates open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30.

July 17th — Second Annual DOLSA (Days of Learning about Sonic Arts) event for Rangely’s Elder population. Folks from Eagle Crest Assisted Living, White River Village Center, and Rangely Hospital’s Long Term Care will have an opportunity to learn about The TANK and participate in music and sound making, featuring harpist Christina Ivanna along with Lois LaFond and Rangely historians.  9am – 10am at The TANK. Open to the public, admission is free (donations gratefully accepted). (The TANK Community Outreach Committee)

July 16th — Harp in the Park with visiting Harpist Christina Ivanna.  2pm – 3pm at Elks Park, 311 S Stanolind Ave, Rangely, CO. Christina will introduce her instrument to children and their parents in a concert and a hands-on experience. Open to the public, admission is free (donations gratefully accepted). (The TANK Community Outreach Committee)

July 11th — Deep Listening Workshop led by Elaine diFalco. 9am – 10am at The TANK. Open to the public, admission is free (donations gratefully accepted). (The TANK Community Outreach Committee)

June 21st — Roomful of Teeth Fundraising Concert  
8:00pm – 9:00pm. Seats (and SOUND!!!) will be available inside and outside The TANK for this concert! $75 limited seats inside The TANK; $15 unlimited seats under the stars.  Go here for tickets. 

Complimentary free outside tickets for residents of Rangely only will be available at the Chamber of Commerce, beginning June 1st. 

Roomful of Teeth is a GRAMMY-winning vocal project dedicated to mining the expressive potential of the human voice. 

June 18th — “Ring the Bells That Still Can Ring”  8:00pm – 10:00pm. Free to all. Bring your bells and join in conducted bell ringing inside and outside The TANK. 

June 18th — Barbecue, concert, and aerial sculptures outside at The TANK. 5:30pm – 7:30pm. $10/person, under 12 free. Bring a picnic or buy food from the barbecue. Admission includes “Ring the Bells That Still Can Ring” at 8:00pm. Go here for tickets or pay at the door.

June 17th – Open Mic at The TANK. 7:00pm – 10:00pm. $5.00/person. Under 12 free.
Bring your instrument, your voice, your friends, and perform at The TANK. 

June 16th Sound Circle Concert for the Community. 5:00 pm – 7pm, Rangely High School Auditorium. Free to all. (Donations cheerfully accepted.) Sound Circle is an a cappella women’s ensemble based in Boulder, Colorado.
